I bought an RC car for my son. He loved it but the wheel fell off shortly after we got it. I called Asurion since I had bought the protection plan and they were very helpful! They listened to what had happened and I ended up getting a full refund for my purchase. The process was quick and so easy for me. They didn??t even ask me to send them anything. They simply listened to what happened and acted. I was very pleased with my experience.

I purchased this insurance along with a radio controlled car. Our RC car broke the first week we used it through normal wear and use. I subsequently filed a claim through Asurion’s automated system. This took several attempts and form that was not initially approved. Submitted photos, Submitted again because we were missing our phone number on the form (yes, we admit that), but the rest of the form with pertinent info was complete. Our claim was eventually approved, (we have the email) stating we’d receive an ecard for the replacement cost of the item. It’s been well over the 15 day promised with not response from the seller. As with most insurance companies, they clearly, don’t want to pay and make the customer jump through hoops to pay out. Very disappointed and wanted to share my experience with others.
